12-09-15 Cipriani On A Tuesday Night

Marble columns surround us
Golden trimmings adorn the walls
Underneath higher ceilings above
Fancy celebrities wear hot fashions
We're talking ball gowns and bow ties
Paparazzi snapping shots on the street
These guys are all worth a million bucks
The drinks are free and the food is incredible
The band plays on well into the evening
Long historical vibrations echo all around
Legendary men and women have walked
On these articulated mosaic polished tile floors
A timeless energy fills this space for eternity
And here I am wondering how I wound up here

12-08-15 Liberal Use Of Magic

Midnight radiation
Pouring out of my skull

Pure love from inside
The best parts of my heart

Remembering when
We were kids together

Casting spells around
On the crowded city sidewalk

Making people believe
In the spirit of excitement

Lavish gifts showered
In golden castles from nowhere

Make it all better
Don't let any more bad stuff happen

Fix all the problems
With the power of a few words

12-07-15 Country Style Sweetness

Nowhere here
Out in the clear
Sincerely yours
For a new year

Blue sky stretch
For miles beyond
Dreams blooming
Make a wish

Listen closely
Call of the beast
Leave it alone
Stay awakened

Check this out
Reloaded again
Shoot off steam
Fire away

12-06-15 Time Travel Vortex

Step into the vortex
To travel through time
Let's get back to yesterday
Live again in the old world

Groove with the beats
Dance with the dinosaurs
Paint with the masters

Hop into the vortex today
To travel around through time
Let's get back to tomorrow
See you again in the future

12-05-15 Chelsea Hotel #105

Take a long walk
Up the staircase
And look around
Catch a glimpse

Elevator is broken
Down the hallway
Inside a dream world
Explosive energy

Subtle red glow
Lightbulb blinking
Someone screaming
Or singing opera

Fire alarm again
She slowly fell asleep
With a lit cigarette
Burning the bed

Soft whispers of smoke
Swan dive through time
Bohemian gypsy spirit
The smell of old perfume

Hidden in a mystery box
Glamorized fashion lifestyle
Tumultuous in New York
Hot blazing afternoon fun

Art school death squad
Rooftop party until morning
Sunlit shadows create shapes
Patterns of movement shift

Loud knocking tonight
Strange feelings permeate
A voice from yesterday
Music from somewhere else

Man enough to walk away

11-24-15 Prophecy With A Scooby Doo Ending

I saw a snake on the subway today
Your venom is more red than green
Kill quietly undercover in the dark
Holy robots serving tea in prison
Disco lights flashing our youth away
It is now time to start counting animals
Slaughter in the rainforest destroys us
Create new worlds with your imagination
Our government is corrupted absolutely
Objects have been reported in the skies
Believe in magic no matter what they say
You only have to worry about everything
Destruction of our natural resources is bad
Obviously this planet is in significant danger
Oblivion is right around the corner tomorrow
Polluted oceans breeding radioactive fish
The air we breathe is not much cleaner
Earthlings are not the only life forms
This universe is expanding everlasting
Healthy trees grow towards the sunshine
Fantastic bumblebee golden chocolate
Marble puzzle pieces put back together
Haunted theater with a funky phantom
It was actually the old usher in disguise
And he would've gotten away with it
If it wasn't for you meddling kids

In a town where nobody's nice

Use your own voice
To pass along a good word

Send a message of love
Across the blue skies above

gather around the table
precious family time together
feasting with full plates
thankful for this wonderful meal

In a time of great sensitivity

With tension in their bones
Take these threats seriously
The praises of apocalypse
No time for entertainment

Evil has returned
To spread darkness
In the grip of fear
This is no joke
