Ducks swim in the universe
Flocks of firebirds mock our every move
Snowbirds fly south for the winter
Pigeons are swarming everywhere

There's a falcon on our roof
And an eagle perched in it's nest
Across the woods up in trees
Flying free into the horizon

It smells like my Grandma's house
When the kids read the hot catalyst
Messages flow underground to crowds

Surrender to the sunshine
Sleep until noon on Tursday
Lazy days in the backyard
Sipping lemonade relaxed

Strawberry cubes

Dry floating by

Space madness
Stuck inside the ship
Surrounded by aliens

We saw strange objects
Which could not be identified

Frozen cold under a warm sun
Dark birds swarmed in slowly
Under the cover of sinister clouds
Black smoke rising above the city

The excruciating sting of death
Passes through life in a dance
Visiting late at night silently
Evil spirits haunt this location

The birds interpret the underworld
Voices from beyond this existence
Echoes calling out in endless cycles
Let your light shine again in the morning

When you were here with me
My life was complete
I felt safe and protected
We always connected

Now that you are gone
My life is broken
I feel so cold and alone
There's no one on the phone

I go to those same old places
Where we used to have good times
But without you nothing is the same
All I have now is memories

Sneaking onto that old baseball field
Through a hole in the fence onto the ball field
Collecting stones throwing home at the plate

We had so many of these awakenings
Over coffee cups and jelly doughnuts
Realizing the full potential of humanity
Before forgetting the worlds we discovered

Strange symmetrical shapes make perfect sense
All knowledge of everything is instantly revealed
This cartoon universe exists is all infinite forms
Unseen by the naked eye as we walk away blind

Slow fog rolling through town
On an odd night to say the least
Numbers came in strange patterns
Destiny seemed to take over completely
Fate stepped in to align these circumstances
Everything was in sync and out of step
It was clearly all supposed to happen
A stroke of luck in the blink of an eye
The pizza tasted better than the pasta
It was a dark time for the freedom fighters
The clean fresh air smelled sweet to taste
Planets in the universe revolved and evolved
The stars told us what to do as the story unfolded
Then we all lived happily ever after
