07-20-17 Thanks For The Smile

Get ready for anything
It's all going to happen
It's already happening
You're always happy

07-19-17 Evolution Reflection

Who will go back
To read this stuff
In the far future
When humans are
Long gone away

When robots rule
Will there be memories
Of the world we created
Or will any of it matter
We are living computers

07-18-17 Good Blessings

Deep breaths of peace
Sending love and light
Out into the universe

07-17-17 Spooky Images

Wolves in the fire
Fighting against ghosts
In the deep dark forest
Vampires after midnight
Horror show buried alive
Wicked witches awaken
Zombies feasting on brains

07-16-17 Frozen Cave

Asleep in a cave
Cold and alone
Dark and quiet
Slow for a spell
Frozen below time
Shelter from storms
Protection in the wild

07-15-17 Saturday Night Wasteland

Fell asleep on the couch
Watching The Honeymooners
Dreamed that I went to Japan
To find rare old Star Wars toys

07-14-17 Slug Face

Some people love
That slimy old slug face
Rolling down the street
In his blue disco suit

With fake orange hair
And red hot lava all over
Swimming in his shoes
Flounder fluff and repeat

Slug face slush fund flush
Backwards language speak
Barf all over the front seat
Into warm puddles of mess

07-13-17 Searching For Soul

long drawn out dream
ice cream fantasy beans
laser beams in the sky
flying fish fry dry dock

creatures of the night
fighting for what is right
crying in the dark smiling
file folders following style

held to a higher standard
frozen below zero forever
foolish feast of burning
beast of famine is a burden

say it like it's a bad thing
when the timing wasn't right
old New York in the mirror
find your self on the sidewalk

07-12-17 The Helpers

Reach out
To lend your
Helping hand
To those in need

Don't be afraid
To ask for a hand
When you are down
And need some help

07-11-17 Pioneers

Someday we will fly away
In a rocket ship to outer space
Beyond the moon and stars
To start a new life on Mars

07-10-17 Deep Time

Trees grow quietly
Slowly over years

Landscapes evolving
As gardens are growing

Cities under construction
Infrastructure improvements

Seeing many sunsets
Everything stays the same

07-09-17 Paradise Paradox

Car race speed chase

Crystal clear electric

Helps people in life

Kiss the clown circus

Destroy the paradox

Paradise in the city

Art circles exploding

Anything goes here

Downtown cycles crash

Crazy rant under cover

Hide underground alone

Find the truth in reality

07-08-17 Barefoot On The Boardwalk

Pour your heart out
On a rock in the ocean
Swim away to the moon
Make friends with fish

Eat sweet summer seafood
With a squeeze of lemon
In mists of salty ocean spray
Sandy hair sunburn skin

07-07-17 Faster Than The Future

New minutes on the clock

Change and age immediately

Lost forever inside memories

When hours never seem to pass

Within seconds spent so wisely

Being present inside this moment

Frozen in time forever after

07-06-17 While You Were Sleeping

In the dead of night
Lights go out quietly
The world changes
Wake up in a crisis

07-05-17 Red Brick Building

Red brick walls
Have stood tall
For long decades
Beside skyscrapers

Crumbling now
Into a pile of rubble
Soon to be reborn
As a glass steel giant

07-03-17 Anything But The Truth

Show us what we want to hear
Fireballs in your face again
Fireworks reflect in your eyes
Love is in bloom in the park
Ninjas are hiding in shadows
Cracking on the floor below
Fake news smokescreen plot
Look over there at distractions
Elephants on parade in paradise
Sizzling bacon on a plate of eggs
Casual types sleep under the stars
Tomorrow we go back to work

07-03-17 We'll Make It Happy

We'll make it work
Together the next day
If we can't do it today
And it will be ok

We'll make it happy
And the world will be fine
When sunshine finds us
Our journey will be complete

07-02-17 After People

Green plants rise up
Through cracks in cement
Trees grow into wild giants
The animal population explodes
Reclaiming the natural world

07-01-17 Sleep Overture

In another mind
Flowing in waves
Floating away

Eyes are closed
Lying quietly still
Hearing voices

Thoughts fade out
Images come alive
Slipping into a dream
