Bullets flying on Fifth Avenue
People shot down on the sidewalk
Fresh crimson blood on the pavement
Sitting in my office around the corner
Sipping a hot cup of coffee at my desk
Voices shouting and screaming on the street
Police car sirens wailing outside my windows
Helicopters hovering overhead like dragonflies
Television news crews setting up for their live shot
Crowds of people gathering on the corner in awe
Another crazy day here in New York City
I can't wait to go home to my wife and baby
