We dig down deep
into our broken hearts
to make sense of tragedy
to find strength to move on
to honor the spirits of those we lost
and to continue the fight against evil
These wounds will heal
as time passes by slowly
the flowers will all dry up
the tears will dry up too
the pain will never go away
and their memories will live on forever
