I ran into the Dragon Master
on an uptown train this afternoon
but we did not discuss his magic
instead we recalled that fateful night
so long ago before the dawn of man
in the middle of a ferocious blizzard
when the union of souls was joined
in an affirmation of everlasting love
We talked so long he missed his stop
so he summoned the winds of infinity
to transport him back to Central Park
in the heart of an incredible imagination
