03-19-16 Reflections At The End Of A Dream

Tougher than raw meat
Bloody bruised broken
A gallon of old whiskey
Spilled out across the floor

Effortless glide with grace
Fashion trends pretend to care
Golden sparkle diamonds twinkle
All blinged out under the skylight

Sitting up in the penthouse
Looking down on the world
Champagne showers flowing
A lifetime flashes by fast

You beat me to the punch
And knocked me out cold
I know I should let it go
But it still hurts so much
