lost another poetry slam
drank too much and fell asleep
forgot to remember all that stuff
nothing to write about
along another open road
burning messages in a fire pit
won't let it grow for too long
seeking knowledge is not enough
work at it as hard as you can
don't ever stop creating dreams
never give up when you fail
rise up strong and live to write again
