09-09-16 Selfish Jellyfish Smelly Face

Ugly face on your tattoo
Ugly tattoo on your face
Make up won't cover it
It won't cover your make up

Rings of jewelry bling out
Fingers of silent success
Strung out on cheese sticks
Hot wings flying deep fried
Can't get enough champagne
Free for all to see at the mall
Calling all fall fashion freaks
You can't deny you hate it

Never mind a trip to Neverland
Whenever you need to escape
Scrape the dirt out from your eyes
Hanging out with mythical creatures
Smart phones will capture Sasquatch
First before the hunters have a chance
You never even tried to find the money

Broken down social structure
Nothing hurts more than pain
Kiss me goodnight never again
In dreams of rotting pumpkins
Stolen in a daring midnight raid
To fill the bags full of candy

Fortune teller told me to run
Stay home to avoid the curse
Stepping on the bird's nest cure
Sucked knowledge from plants
Vanished on a visit to the zoo
Reading books on the subway
Missed your stop again today

The east meets west the easy way
Somebody turned off the music
Street songs bubbling from below
Underground steam rising above
Like the night light in Philadelphia
Walking barefoot through history

Leave your mark one way or another
Murky mud in the muck luck savage
Between screams the beans explode
Eating spaghetti sauce on a white carpet
Always soft and crisp in plastic wrap
In a better mood before the big bang boom

Your technology dissolves against life
The tide we turn will churn the water
Sandy beaches broken back again here
Where you never smash your hot dog
I rarely even drink sweet soda anymore
Trying to take healthy steps to get better
