Fell asleep on the subway
And dreamt I fell back in time
To a place that never existed
Except in an alternate reality
Where everything was strange
But when I awoke I couldn't tell
If I was in my normal universe
Or somewhere slightly different
Then I began to wonder instead
If I was awake or still dreaming
So here I am now in confusion
Over where I was or if I am
Somewhere under the rainbow
Or back on the train sleeping
In a dream or in another reality
