Deep in the archives of the city library
discovering words in worlds of thought
throughout centuries of highest learning
recorded by ancient masters of knowledge
taught to their students and through their students
passed along from generation to generation
in lessons of human nature remaining unchanged
as time passes by for hundreds of years
locked inside powerful books of wisdom
still being written today as the page turns tomorrow
and the next chapter begins
