12-30-11 A Great Leap Of Faith

A new door opens
Suddenly sunshine and creativity fills the room

We are never going back there again
               The risks are too frisky
               The frisks are too risky
Free flight is a difficult way to go down

Diamonds flash
Hanging from the railing
No walls or floors to break your fall
Dangling from the ceiling
Heartbeats pounding

Fresh forms of expression splash across the empty page
Fascinating thoughts to reinvent modern philosophical theories
Crazy wild ideas before jumping off the balcony
We watched in horror

It must have seemed like a good idea at the time
But the way it all went down was not cool

Hospital walls are less than inspiring
Hard to think without any brains
Broken bones won't heal without care
A broken heart is an even bloodier mess
