Those old plastic
cassette tapes
that we used to
listen to on our
heavy boom box
down at the shore
on sandy beaches
never sounded better
than when we were
care free young kids
When I listen to
that music today
it brings me back
to those sunny
sandy beach days
as though no time
has passed at all
but I only wish
that you were still
here to share it
with me
